Painting and Preparation Process

1. Power-Wash Surfaces

   • Clean all paintable areas, including the roof, stairs, and landings, to remove dirt, grime, and debris.

2. Remove and Reapply Caulking

   • Cut out damaged caulking and apply fresh caulk to seal gaps and prevent moisture intrusion.

3. Fill and Sand Imperfections

   • Patch holes or surface flaws and sand them smooth to ensure an even paint finish.

4. Prime Rusting Nail Heads

   • Apply oil-based primer to rusting nails to protect against further corrosion.

5. Spray Two Top Coats on Siding

   • Use a sprayer to apply two uniform coats of paint to the siding for complete coverage.

6. Roll and Brush Two Top Coats on Trim and Doors

   • Use rollers and brushes to carefully apply two coats of paint to trim and doors for a clean, detailed finish.
